I have been working in the Entertainment industry for the last 9 years both for my degree and professionally. In 2014 I graduated the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Technical Theatre Design and Technical Production with a focus in Lighting and Lighting Programming.

 

I currently am employed by the Walt Disney Company as a full time entertainment technician based in Orlando, FL. I currently hold the title of Magic Kingdom's Backfill Park Lighting Crew Chief. Prior to my current position I toured with Disney On Ice for three years as a senior electrician and a lead programmer. 

 

I hold on call positions at Hartford Stage, as well as Ferri Lighting Design & Associates. While working at Hartford Stage I was part of the lighting team for Anastasia during its Broadway workshop before it moved to Broadway. In my short time with FLDA I have been a part of a team of electricians for the new fully LED lit NBC Sports, ESPN Sports Center and ESPN NFL networks studio installations.

 

When I am given a job I am organized, efficient and effective in a time crunch, high pressure situation. I bring experience in programming both practical and moving light fixtures on  grandMA 1 & 2 series line, Martin M1, ETC EOS Family, ETC Obsession Family as well as the ETC Element console. On a video level I have a partial certification and  experience in programming the V3 Hippotizer Media Server, using the grandMA 1 series as a control surface.  To complete the job I have the skills in practical hands on work, managerial skills as well as the knowledge in the latest computer software including, AutoCAD, Vectorworks and Lightwright.
