Connecticut Repertory Theatre

While completing my BFA in Design and Technical Theatre at the University Of Connecticut, I had the pleasure of working at Connecticut Repertory Theatre as part of their intensive undergraduate program. While working at CRT I completed seven of CRT's MainStage productions as the Master Electrician. Responsibilities include circuiting, organizing, hanging, running crews and maintaining the light plot for the given production. Other responsibilities are the circuiting of both on deck and flying practical scenic pieces. Non lighting related responsibilities include cue light and clear comm communication system integration with our in house equity stage manager.

Summer of 2013 I was hired as the Master Electrician on staff for Connecticut Repertory Theatre's Nutmeg Summer Series.

Responsibilities were the same as during the school year with the addition of scheduling and executing change overs between each show, training spot operators and training a programmer on the ETC ION console. The biggest difference between the school year and summer series is the time line. Our time line for summer shows in terms of the technical process is 1/4 of the time we have during the year.
